Set of Emoticon Characters | The Star-Ledger: Project "EMO": For the newspaper's 2009 redesign, examples from a set of 21 character icons. "Emo" was commissioned to signal the tone or viewpoint of accompanying text.

I love creating icons, icon sets and illustrative logos — including working collaboratively with designers on logos that incorporate their typography and my images. To me, all of these represent a fun challenge: To distill a concept to its most essential elements, and to aim for poster impact within a postage stamp size.

I also love to create infographics — images combining drawing and data to convey information.
